Methodology

How we research, verify, and source every investigation.

Primary Sources Only

Every claim in every investigation is traced to a primary source document — SEC filings, court records, FOIA responses, legislative disclosures, corporate 10-Ks, satellite imagery, or leaked internal communications that have been independently verified.

SEC / FEC / FOIA Verified

Wherever possible, we use data obtained through formal channels: SEC EDGAR filings, FEC campaign finance records, FOIA requests, EU Transparency Register entries, and public court dockets. These are cited inline with document identifiers so readers can verify directly.

Court Filings Cited Inline

When we reference legal proceedings, we cite the specific docket number, court, and filing date. Links to PACER or equivalent public access systems are provided where available.

No Anonymous Sourcing

DOCFLiX.site does not use anonymous sources. Every piece of information in our investigations is attributable to a named source, a public document, or verifiable data. In rare cases where sources face retaliation risk, we corroborate through multiple independent records.

Correction Policy

If we make an error, we correct it transparently. Corrections are noted at the top of the affected article with the date and nature of the change. Readers can report potential errors via our contact page.
